How to come to Nantes?
Travel smart!
Transport is one of the main causes of greenhouse gas emissions. Attendees are encouraged to travel by train or
to carpool with other participants rather than by plane, whenever possible.
UNDERSTAND YOUR impact and make a difference in the fight against climate change by offsetting the CO2

By TGV train
Less than 2 hours from Paris Montparnasse Station
The TGV train station is located in the city centre, opposite La Cité (south exit).

3 hours from Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport Station – 4 TGV trains every day
Direct TGV trains to: Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Paris, Strasbourg, etc.
By road
Nantes boasts an extensive network of roads to reach: To the East: Paris – A1 motorway
To the South: Bordeaux and Toulouse – A83 motorway
To the West: Brest – N165/E60
To the North: Rennes – N137
Travel smart ! Carpooling with other participants is a way to reduce the environmental impact of transport. Use
the conference carpooling platform to find a carpooler among your colleagues.

By plane
Participants are encouraged to give priority to low carbon emission modes of transport and thus to avoid flying
when other options exist.

Accessibility
The Cité des Congrès is accessible to people with reduced mobility and those accompanying them. Dedicated
spaces have been reserved to ensure the best possible welcome for all visitors.
Official Conference Language
The official language of the conference is English.
However, sessions in the main auditorium (Auditorium 2000) will be translated into French and English.
Check the program for speakers' languages and get your headphones before the session if needed.

SECURITY
The current status of the Vigipirate plan in France is that the entire national territory has been maintained at the
highest level, known as ‘attack emergency’, since 15 January 2025 and until further notice. This Vigipirate ‘summer-
autumn 2025’ posture, effective since 1 July 2025, is in response to a terrorist threat that remains high, particularly
in connection with instability in the Near and Middle East. There will be the presence of security agents during all
event periods. They will perform a visual check at the entrance of the building upon your arrival.
NO SMOKING
The place of the congress are free-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside the building.
WEATHER IN FRANCE
In September, Nantes will have minimum temperatures of 13°C and maximum temperatures of 23°C. It is milder in
Nantes, so don't hesitate to go out, but make sure you wrap up warm. Our forecasts estimate an average of 3 to 8
days of rain in Nantes in September. To avoid getting caught out by the rain, don't forget to take an umbrella with
you.
