Registration

Important:

• Congress registration fees vary according to the economic level of participants' countries of origin, using the classification established by the World Bank Classification

• Registration as an HKILA member means that you are up-to-dated with your membership fee at the time of registration for the Congress (a proof of eligibility may be requested). For more information, please check the website of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects at https://www.hkila.com/

• Registration as a ChSLA means that you are a member of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture.

• Registration as Hong Kong Professionals means that you are a member of one of the following professional institutions in Hong Kong.

  • The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA);

  • The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS);

  • The Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP);

  • The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE);

  • The Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design (HKIUD);

  • The Hong Kong Institute of Architectural Conservationists (HKICON);

  • The Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals (HKIQEP)

• Registration as HKGCA means that you are a member of the Hong Kong Greening Contractors Association.

• Proof of student status is required for student registration. To register for student category, one must hold a valid full-time student ID at the time of registration. During the Congress, participants may be required to present their valid student ID for verification.

Full congress registration fees include:

• Access to all Congress sessions (including opening ceremony, keynotes, plenary sessions, scientific committee’s oral and posters presentation and closing ceremony)

• Welcome reception

• Lunches during the Congress

• Coffee breaks during the congress

1-Day pass registration fees (applicable to HKILA members only) include:

• The day registration fees include the same benefits as the full congress registration fees.

• However, participation in social event, lunch and coffee breaks is limited to the chosen registration day only.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

• Payments by credit card and bank transfer are accepted.

• Cheque is accepted only for application of local participants in Hong Kong

CANCELLATION POLICY

• All requests for cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the Organizer, by e-mail at registration@ifla2026.com with the bank account details to which any refund may be made.

• If the written notification of cancellation is received by the Organizer before 28 September 2026, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.

• No reimbursement will be made if the participant fails to attend the Congress both in full and in part.
