IFLA Student Charrette 2026
The IFLA Student Charrette is a dynamic, hands-on workshop designed for Landscape Architecture students worldwide. This Charrette marks the first stop of the IFLA Global Studio Programme (GSP) of 2026/2027. As part of the IFLA World Congress of 2026, this year’s Charrette will take place between 24–27 October 2026 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and takes on Hong Kong’s Aberdeen Harbour as the study site under the theme ‘Liminal Landscapes: Floating Villages, Seafood Culture, and the Land-Water Interface.’
Student Competitions Worldwide: A Dialogue
Starting this year, the IFLA Student Competition has been restructured to become a dialogue that engages student competition worldwide. Rather than hosting an additional independent student competition, this new Student Competitions Dialogue attempts to bring together the major student competitions globally together to the IFLA World Congress to spark constructive discussions and projections. It is intended this dialogue will serve as a new platform that can productively reflect upon planetary visions of landscape architectural education.
